What makes Instalawn different?

The UK’s most environmentally friendly hire option

Artificial grass hire is an almost criminally wasteful industry…  your average hire offering involves a cheap Chinese artificial grass product used a couple of times and then sent to landfill and replaced with another cheap Chinese artificial grass product.  

To put that into perspective that’s a petrochemical product with a huge carbon footprint at the point of manufacture being made from poor quality material in countries and factories with questionable labour conditions (we visited one factory where staff were working 12 hour shifts 7 days a week alternating days and nights with no holidays) and then shipped halfway across the world before being used a couple of times and then thrown away.

Here at Turf King we’re not ok with that.  

Our interlocking artificial grass hire system is hand made in our Bristol workshop by our expert in-house Turf Ninjas. The yarn in our grass is extruded in Germany from some of the highest quality polyethylene used in artificial grass anywhere in the world.  It is then tufted in Lancashire before being delivered to Bristol ready to be chopped up, tapped with the magic wand and pooooft – turned into Instalawn!

The exceptional quality of this polyethylene along with strong blade profiles and good structure within the thatch of the grass drastically increases the product life-cycle. The Instalawn system is easy to clean and completely serviceable which means our product can be used over and over and over again with little detrimental effect to the product.
