Last week we posted about the upcoming Turf King collaboration with CityScapes and The RHS Shades of Autumn Show in Lindley Hall, Westminster – we are pleased to report the show was great fun and a huge success…
It was an honour for us to be invited to take part and supply the RHS artificial grass as the lawn we supplied and installed played host to show gardens by Jon Sims, Anoushka Feiler, Daniel Lobb and Matthew Childs – all of whom are leading garden designers and artists in their own right. Turf King grass framed the four gardens by the above designers in the centre of the show whilst the final CityScapes Remix Garden by Andrew Wilson and Gavin McWilliam surrounded – minimalist elements taken from their original Cloudy Bay Discovery Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower show suspended over huge bowls – a breath taking and innovative interpretation and remix of the original.
The show was a fantastic opportunity to see and enjoy the work of some incredible people leading their field. The symposium held at the show was also a unique and fascinating opportunity to hear each of the designers explain their thoughts and the inspiration that went into their respective gardens.
We’d like to say a massive thank you to Adolfo & Darryl at Cityscapes for inviting us to be involved.
We’d also like to thank Bloom Gin for helping us nearly miss the train back to Bristol after the private view and we’d also like to thank Daniel Lobb Garden Designer and Superstar DJ for the perfect marriage of contemporary garden design, gin and drum and bass!
